The Team

Technically everyone who becomes part of Top Hat & Veils is the team but everything needs someone at the top!

Sarah Jones - Top Hat and Veils GlassBox Media CIC Ipswich

Top Hat & Veils is the brain child of Sarah Jones.

Since 2012 Sarah has been running local media company GlassBox Media CIC. GlassBox is first and foremost a promotional video production company. Top Hat & Veils YouTube Wedding Channel is the latest arm of the company.

Sarah has a mixed employment background, always focused around customer service and events planning. Her move into the media industry came about, nearly 10 years ago in her mid twenty’s, when she left working in recruitment to work for local radio station and online community TV.
Having worked in hospitality and catering for nearly a decade and a passion for all things pretty and sparkly, her interest in weddings like most women, has grown in time from an early age.

Sarah is naturally creative with an eye for detail that is inspiring to some and appears quirky to others.
Top Hat & Veils came about when Sarah organised a friend’s wedding. The bride, a busy lady working and living in London and getting married in Suffolk, wanted to check out venues and suppliers yet she found magazines to be too time consuming and websites not ‘quick enough’ to fit round her time frame, she wanted to ‘see’ the items, hear reviews from people who have used a company. So, having moaned (a lot) about the serious lack of videos out there with which to view what she’s after etc, she then suggested that Sarah did something about it!’
And so it has come to pass as they say…..

Sarah had known Gill for many years, having met through Sarah & Gill working for Archant Suffolk. Sarah was the creator of Gills former Show: The Wedding Planner on Felixstowe TV and is now once again collaborating with Gill on the Top Hat & Veils Wedding Channel.

Gillian (Gill) Atacocugu is a wedding planner.
Long before she qualified as a wedding planner, she was arranging weddings and parties in Turkey, mainly on a 26 metre long sailing boat.

Since then, she has gone on to write articles for wedding magazines and their blogs and has worked as a researcher and presenter of a programme for Felixstowe TV, aptly named ‘The Wedding Planner.’

Alongside this, she has extensive knowledge on up coming trends by regularly attending wedding fayres and browsing the internet, copious shops and venues that have anything to do with weddings and celebratory planning.

Along the way, she has learnt the skill of taking photographs from professionals and how to film wedding related topics and events.
